APSystems YC600 Microinverter

APsystems' third generation DS3-S dual micro-inverter achieves an output power of 600 VA, making it compatible with today's larger power modules. With the DS3-S, APsystems offers a dual-module inverter based on state-of-the-art technologies. The micro-inverter was developed to optimally utilise solar energy from small solar systems (e.g. balcony power plants). The direct current generated is converted into a grid-compliant alternating current of 230 V with a high degree of efficiency.

Thanks to Reactive Power Control (RPC), the new DS3 series interacts with the power grids to better manage photovoltaic power peaks in the grid. In addition, the innovative and compact design makes the product lighter and maximises power generation. For less stress on the electronics, easier heat dissipation and better waterproofing, the components are encapsulated with silicone.

You can easily connect two modules to the DS3-S. Due to two independent MPP trackers, the solar modules are individually recorded and optimised for each other. Remote diagnosis and maintenance are easily possible via a web-based portal or an app. Communication works

To protect the connections for connecting a second module, we recommend purchasing a male and female MC4 end cap for the DS3-S inverter.

Optionally, you can purchase a 4 m connection cable with which you can connect the DS3-S micro inverter directly to your power grid. In some European countries it is permitted to plug the micro inverter directly into the socket using a connection cable with a shockproof plug, but in Germany a special energy socket (e.g. according to DIN VDE V 0628-1) is required. The AC bus connection cable, which is optionally available is supplied without a shockproof plug and with an open end. The connection cable can be easily removed from the DS3-S inverter using the AC Unlock tool.

APsystems monitoring unit ECU-B

The optional available monitoring unit ECU-B enables system monitoring via the smart phone app. With the EMA-App monitoring is possible from anywhere, an internet connection is just required. Furthermore, regular status reports guarantee an adequate system performance.

A distinction is made between a home user account, which allows the end user to view module-level data and long-term savings, and an installer account with extended functionality for system configuration and control.
