Microinverters
Imagine you have several lamps in your house, and each lamp has its own dimmer. This allows you to control the brightness of one lamp independently from the others. Microinverters do exactly this for solar panels. A microinverter is a small electronic device connected directly to a single solar panel. It converts the direct current (DC) generated by the panel into alternating current (AC). Without a microinverter, your house wouldn’t be able to use the electricity produced by the solar panel.
