Inverters for photovoltaic systems
Inverters are also called current transformers, voltage transformers or grid feed-in devices (NEG). This is because the direct current generated by the solar system is converted into alternating current by the inverter. This step is extremely important because most electrical appliances cannot be operated with direct current. In addition to current conversion, the inverter for photovoltaic systems has several other functions. These include control, power optimisation through MPP trackers, safety, power grid monitoring and monitoring of the PV system and solar yields. Different products have different strengths. If you have any questions about the inverters in our online shop, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The best inverters for every need
In the ErEne Green Technologies online shop, you will discover the best inverters for just about every need. From grid-connected to off-grid systems, you will find the right product for maximum energy conversion under the heading "Inverters". We are always available to advise you on the selection of powerful inverters.
Hybrid inverter - combination of PV and battery inverter
As the name suggests, this type of inverter is a hybrid of a photovoltaic inverter and a battery inverter. Apart from the conversion into alternating current, the use of hybrid inverters is particularly effective in combination with electricity storage systems. Practical advantage: If a power storage unit is to be retrofitted on the DC side, it is not necessary to have an additional battery inverter installed. There are single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters.
Battery inverter - the inverter for power storage retrofitting
For the subsequent combination of an electricity storage system with an existing system, the installation of a battery inverter can be a sensible option. Alternatively, it is possible to replace the existing inverter with a hybrid inverter that works in combination with a battery. Battery inverters are often used, especially when upgrading existing systems. These can be connected to the AC grid in parallel with the system. State-of-the-art devices, which you can find in our online shop, enable effortless wall mounting using the plug & play method and can be easily commissioned via a smartphone app.
Micro inverter - the inverter for balcony power plants
Micro inverters are also called module inverters. Usually this inverter is placed directly on the module, often integrated in the module junction box. Unlike a conventional inverter, the device only converts direct current into alternating current for one or only a few modules, but not for a string (string inverter) or even an entire solar system (central inverter).
An isolating transformer ensures the necessary safety. The microinverter acts as a DC-DC converter that precisely adjusts the voltage to operate the connected solar module at the maximum power point (MPP).
