SolarEdge power optimisers are designed to maximise the energy output of PV systems.

The power optimisers are connected to each solar module so that the point of maximum power output (maximum power point tracking) is sought for each module. This allows the modules of the PV system to be flexibly aligned in a string. In combination with SolarEdge inverters, the string voltage of the power optimisers automatically remains constant.

The additional monitoring of the solar modules as well as the collection and transmission of the performance data to the corresponding monitoring platform is also advantageous.
