Growatt ARK HV 17.9 kWh A2
The Growatt ARK HV 17.9 kWh A2 battery storage system is the latest generation of high-voltage battery storage for Growatt hybrid inverters of the SPH series and Growatt battery inverters of the SPA series. Each system consists of 2 to 10 ARK HV 2.56 battery modules, connected in series and stacked into a tower, providing a usable total capacity from 4.6 kWh up to 23.04 kWh.
The version presented here – the Growatt ARK HV 17.9 kWh A2 – includes 7 ARK HV storage modules, each offering 2.56 kWh, resulting in a total capacity of 17.9 kWh. The storage system can be expanded with additional battery modules for up to three months after commissioning. We generally recommend choosing a larger battery system, as this model can also be charged via AC, which is especially advantageous during winter months when used in combination with a dynamic electricity tariff. To calculate your ideal storage size, take your highest daily energy consumption and multiply it by 1.1 to ensure 24-hour coverage in winter.
The use of cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate batteries offers significant advantages in terms of safety and service life. These batteries are extremely safe and deliver improved charge and discharge efficiency.
We recommend floor installation. For systems with a storage capacity of 17.92 kWh or more (7 battery modules), we advise splitting the storage into two towers.
