Growatt ARK HV 20.4 kWh A2 Doppelturm

The Growatt ARK HV 20.4 kWh A2 battery storage system is the latest generation of high-voltage storage for Growatt hybrid inverters of the SPH series and Growatt battery inverters of the SPA series. Each system consists of 2 to 10 ARK HV 2.56 storage modules, which are connected in series and assembled into a tower with a usable total capacity ranging from 4.6 kWh to 23.04 kWh.

This version – the Growatt ARK HV 20.4 kWh A2 – includes 8 ARK HV storage modules, each with 2.56 kWh, resulting in a total capacity of 20.4 kWh. For added stability, the system is configured as two connected towers. Storage systems can be expanded with additional battery modules within three months of commissioning. For this reason, we generally recommend choosing a larger storage system, as this battery can also be charged via AC power — a particularly attractive option for winter use in combination with a dynamic electricity tariff. To determine your ideal storage capacity to cover 24 hours in winter, multiply your highest daily power consumption by 1.1.

Using cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries offers significant advantages, especially in terms of safety and longevity. These batteries are extremely safe and offer improved charge and discharge efficiency.

We recommend floor installation. For storage capacities of 17.92 kWh (7 battery modules) and above, we advise splitting the system into two towers.
