What should be considered when choosing the right power storage unit?
How do I find the right power storage unit that will meet with enthusiasm from my customers? There are various criteria to consider when choosing the right power storage unit. Is the storage unit easy to install? Is the design easy to carry out? With which inverters is the storage compatible? How many charging cycles does the device achieve over its entire service life? Is the charging capacity sufficient for the given purposes? Can the storage unit be expanded at a later date? In the end, an awareness of these factors favours the right selection.
High-voltage or low-voltage battery?
When selecting a power storage unit, the question also arises as to whether a high-voltage battery or a low-voltage battery is more suitable. High-voltage batteries are designed for voltages of at least 200 volts, work very efficiently and ensure fast energy transfer. Low-voltage batteries, on the other hand, only work with voltages of up to 50 volts.
Compared to high-voltage storage systems, they are safer and more flexibly adaptable to specific requirements. Low-voltage storage is the product of choice especially for smaller households or where space is limited. High-voltage batteries, on the other hand, score with more depth of discharge, less wiring and components and are suitable for households with high electricity consumption.
